Su primer presidente fue Andr\u00e9s Morel y con el paso del tiempo pas\u00f3 a denominarse Club Atl\u00e9tico Boca Unidos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1997 <\/strong>\/ El boxeador Carlos Gabriel Salazar derrota por puntos en fallo dividido al puertorrique\u00f1o Jos\u00e9 Antonio <em>Carita <\/em>L\u00f3pez, reteniendo el t\u00edtulo mundial de los moscas de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de Boxeo (OMB). El combate se disput\u00f3 en el Club Acci\u00f3n de S\u00e1enz Pe\u00f1a, con la presencia de 2800 personas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1997 <\/strong>\/ Miguel Horacio P\u00e9rez de General San Mart\u00edn, se consagra Campe\u00f3n Nacional de Mayores en los 400 metros con vallas, estableciendo el r\u00e9cord del Campeonato Nacional con 51\u201d 15\/100, competencia realizada en el CENARD.
